About Kosei Ichinose
Kosei began playing poker as a profession more than 10 years ago. He has cashed more than $4 million in online tournaments. He is the first Japanese player to achieve SNE (Supernova Elite).
Kosei's first experience with poker began on March 2006 when he was studying abroad in Vancouver, Canada. It was by chance when his friend took him on a trip to a local casino that sparked his interest in the game of poker and the rest is history. Kosei became the first Japanese player to win FTOPS and TCOOP events as well as the highly coveted SNE honor.
While enjoying success on both virtual and live poker fields, Kosei excels in running deep in online tournaments. With his steadfast and strong winnings from the online scene, Kosei has his sights set on cashing in on more live events in Asia.
Apart from his profession of playing cards, Kosei loves to travel. As a restless soul, he is always seeking to experience new cultures. In fact, if Kosei wasn't a professional poker player, he would have pursued a profession in the travel industry or have even considered a career as a pilot. His favorite travel destinations are Seoul, Barcelona, and Las Vegas. Kosei later plans to retire in Vancouver, Canada.
