We would like to officially welcome Angel Guillen to our Ambassador family with open arms. As one of the most well-known and accomplished poker players hailing from Mexico, Guillen has high hopes and aspirations for spreading his love of poker throughout the far reaches of his home country. When it comes to his life outside poker, Guillen does not consider himself a professional poker player, but rather a student of the game. He credits poker in developing his problem solving and decision making skills, which he strongly believes can have practical applications in other areas of life. Besides researching and learning about the game, Angel loves the perk of traveling that comes with being a poker pro. One of the scariest moments that he had experienced on his travels occurred while he was driving on the highway toward Acapulco along with Scott Seiver, JC Alvarado, Aaron Been, and Diego Sanchez. While attempting to overtake a truck, they ended up in a risky position of almost hitting another oncoming truck. Thankfully, with a split-second maneuver, they were able to narrowly miss the truck and drive into the some roadwork bollards without anyone getting harmed.
