Ambassador Kosei Ichinose ousted a field of 15 players at the APT Philippines 2017 II at the $2,150 No Limit Hold'em - High Rollers Event #11 to finish first. In a long and grueling heads-up duel with Finland's Jukka Jarvinen, he grabbed a share of $29,100 after a deal was made. For Ichinose, this is already his second 1st place finish in the APT High Rollers title this year. With this victory, Kosei has racked up live tournament winnings of over $100K in 2017 with three 1st place finishes in the APT and Poker King Cup. He currently ranks 8th on the Japan All Time Money List. After his impressive finish placing 3rd at the 2016 Asia Championship of Poker (ACOP) for $83,296, Kosei is certainly building up his resume to end the year in impressive fashion.
